My name is Patricia Alexander and I am an experienced Teacher and Private Tutor. I have a Master’s Degree in Education MA.Ed., and a Master’s Degree in Pastoral Studies MA.PS. For your peace of mind and assurance, I am registered with the CRB and hold an Enhanced Disclosure Scotland.
I have many years of experience of working in Education at different levels, including
the Primary, Secondary and Adult and Continuous Education Sectors.
In 1994 I decided to tutor privately and Alexander Tutoring was born! I now focus my
time on working closely with my students to ensure they have a sound foundation
on which to build and the best opportunity to learn. I teach Maths, English and
Reasoning skills and concepts and am available to children in the Primary and early
Secondary levels, whether they are in the State or Private Sector.
I offer one - to - one tuition to children aged 7 to 14 years, from Coatbridge, Airdrie,
Hamilton, Bothwell, Glasgow and the wider North and South Lanarkshire areas.
Of particular interest to me are all those times in a child’s life when their performance
can influence their future academic performance. Parents and guardians agree that
learning outcomes at an early age can have a dramatic effect on their child’s
achievement, abilities and confidence. I have witnessed first hand the rewards and
positive results that tuition can have for children. My past students remember how
important early tuition was for them.
